In a dive attack, deploy the air brakes to control the acceleration so you don't gain too much speed and slam into the ground. The offensive and defensive armaments are a bit underwhelming, but can still heavily damage enemy aircraft in close proximity. The Stuka has a very low stall speed and is very manoeuvrable at lower speeds giving it an edge in a dive bomb run or a turn fight. It is fairly durable for its battle rating, being able to take a decent amount of 7.7 mm and 12.7 mm fire before being fully disabled, but this doesn't mean you should fly in a straight line. The Ju 87 D-3 is a slow bomber when flying but decently fast in a dive. It has been in the game since the start of the Open Beta Test prior to Update 1.27. With a battle rating of 2.3 (AB/SB) and 2.0 (RB). Still felt awesome though. The Ju 87 D-3 is a rank II German dive bomber But this was also pre-bomb nerf so it was much easier. I flew between two offset Jumbos, dropped a pair on cap, rolled slighly left & dropped, then right & dropped, and managed to clear the point and get both tanks. Though I did manage to make it work for me once. Better to just not drop, pull out of the run, and try again. One last note: if you try to turn to adjust last minute bombs, do not bother dropping. Use basically the same strats for the A-20, Stuka, & P-47. Some maps you can go lower (like on D-Day due to the slope of the map), but generally 200 should be safe.Īlso I recommend dropping a pair or two, then doing a 180 loop (I go vertical to regain altitude) and drop the remaining as you head back toward rearm. Just be sure you pull up out of the dive at ~200m if you want to survive. You only really need to get to around 600m altitude. Climb up to around 900m+ otherwise you will not be able to get the nose down and up in time.
